Shipwright

Shipwright is based at the Master Shipwright’s House in Deptford.

The Shipwright is a new riverside theatre at the Master Shipwright’s House in Deptford (a short walk from Deptford, New Cross and Greenwich stations). The venue launched in 2020 with production of Dido & Aeneas, followed by an eclectic festival of music, literature, comedy and cabaret. Since then audiences from across London have enjoyed regular live entertainment, food and drink in the historic grounds of the house on the river Thames featuring some of the capital’s most exciting rising talent, including Omari Douglas, Alex Lawther, Lucy Crowe, Diane Chorley, Mawaan Rizwan, Leo Reich, Rosanna Suppa, Ellie Kendrick, Laurie Kynaston, Daniel Monks, Faye Marsay, Tim Meade, Jonny Byers and many more.
