Manish Harijan is a contemporary Nepalese artist based in Sheffield, UK. The son of a shoemaker from the Dalit or untouchable caste, through art, Manish questions the injustices inflicted upon minorities and the lived experiences of vulnerable populations in all societies around the world.
His practice explores the notion of visibility, invisibility, opaque, touch, censored, and vulnerability in our time. His practice employs various media including screen-print, video, painting, sculpture, and installation with multiple materials.
